Welcome to the start of the Festive Season, yes, the shops are tingling and jingling with all those Christmas sparkles, the supermarkets are stocked with Christmas Cheer and feasts yet to be prepared.
Last week we not only had the Retail committee meet and I thank all that attended for your input. But we also met with representatives of the GRIA and have put together a tentative series of seminars which we intend to roll out next year at a rate of one a month from February on.
So much happening in the coming weeks,
Business After Hours is this Friday night at the TAFE always a good night and a superb venue, I am attending Cue Parliament on Friday as well. This is when all the local shires get together and talk with ministers and Local Government Representatives.
As you will see we also have a Local Government procurement workshop planned for here in Geraldton. This will allow businesses who would like to supply goods and services to our local and regional councils to know the process. How do I use E Quotes? This should be a great workshop and I am sure many businesses will come away being clearer on what is required to supply.
The Business After Hours Christmas Markets are on Tuesday 12th Dec, so just mark it in your diary and save the date, invites will be out later this week. If your business would like a stall to promote your business, then please contact Chloe at the chamber. The stalls sell out fast and so many people attend.
Christmas on the Terrace is on Thursday Dec 14th. This is always a highlight for many families and shops bring out their bargain tables loaded with treasures. A great night to grab the kids and bring them down the mall.
Remember our shops are also open on Sundays, so getting to the shops and present collecting should be easier this year.
