The Mid West Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. (Mid West CCI) is proud to announce that nominations are now open for the 2026 Business Excellence Awards (BEA). This year we are proud to celebrate 30 years of recognising and celebrating business excellence across the Mid West.
The 2026 Awards will embrace the theme “Coral to Coast – Anchored in Excellence,” celebrating the industries, communities, and businesses that define our region. From the coastline to the inland shires, the Mid West’s economy has long been shaped by the sea and the land through agriculture, fishing, resources, manufacturing, innovation and tourism,.
The theme also wishes to acknowledge the rich maritime history of our coastline, with significant anniversaries approaching for the Zeewijk in 2027 and the Batavia in 2029, recognising the enduring connection between our region’s history, resilience, and future prosperity.
The BEA recognise businesses that demonstrate outstanding achievement across a diverse range of categories, sole, small, medium and large businesses, recognising innovation, business start ups, customer experiences, sustainability, tourism, and more.
Beyond recognising local excellence, the awards provide to eligible category winners an opportunity to represent the Mid West at the WA Regional Business Excellence Awards in 2027. A showcase of WA’s best regional businesses on the state stage.
Over the past three decades, many businesses and individuals have been recognised. These Awards continue to inspire businesses to reflect on their achievements, strengthen strategic planning, and pursue new opportunities for growth.
For past entrants, the awards process has delivered lasting benefits beyond the trophies—building confidence, opening new markets, attracting investment, creating employment and training opportunities, and supporting long-term business success. The positive impact extends throughout the Mid West by strengthening the regional economy, and enhancing community prosperity.

The Business Excellence Awards Gala is the Mid West Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s premier annual event, bringing together business leaders, industry, government, and the wider community for an evening dedicated to celebrating excellence.
Guests will enjoy an exceptional evening featuring premium local cuisine, outstanding entertainment, and the presentation of the region’s most prestigious business awards in a sophisticated and memorable setting.
